Simulator Design: overhead panels I'm sourcing all the overhead sub-panels and hardware from Simulatory and interfacing it all with OpenCockpits IO cards. Systems logic will be controlled either by the OpenCockpits 'SIOC' language or Project Magenta's PM systems. The overhead frames will be made from timber (metal joins) or if I have the funds - welded square steel tube. This will be the most challenging part of the electronics build ... so many buttons, switches, annunciators, rotaries, LEDS ... and on it goes!
